Kalina St. Jean

Hi, I'm Kalina. I'm a mom of three and wife to an organic farmer. We live in rural Ontario in a cozy log home with two dogs, two horses, a flock of chickens and a big garden. Together my husband and I grow all our own vegetables and I grow cut flowers for my little roadside stand. I am a stay-at-home mom and love being home with my kids and making our home cozy. I have a passion for baking and nourishing my family with the amazing things that we grow. I truly believe that kitchen is the heart of the home. There is no better way to make a house feel homey than to have the kitchen full of delicious smells and the warmth that emanates around the house from a home cooked meal. When I am not looking after kids and animals, growing things and cooking things you will find me painting. I have been creative all of my life and have fully circled back to my fine art passion now that I'm a mom. My art is inspired by my life and my interests. I would like my art to bring simply beautiful moments to your day and to help you slow down and enjoy a moment of calm in this otherwise hectic world. I love bringing my art to practical items. Whether it is simply a print to dress up a wall or shelf, a lovely card to share with a loved one or a recipe card or notepad to elevate your kitchen. I want you to be able to add a little beauty to those simple moments throughout your day.
